Southern Cross Church Supplies

In order to support loving and pious lives, Southern Cross Church Supplies aims to offer the best selection, quality, affordability, convenience, and customer service in a single location for all Christian Church and religious needs.

They are happy to serve anyone who walks in or calls, and everyone is welcome. They provide a welcoming and supportive service.

Their Range

They serve as a one-stop shop for all of the special occasion and devotional gift needs of the Christian Church.

They also provide services for woodwork, statue and metalwork restoration, as well as sewing specially made clothes. They source a large number of their goods from Australian producers and artisans, including candles, churchware and furniture, altar linen and vestments, artwork, and greeting cards.

Their wide selection of sizes in reasonably priced, high-quality, long-burning, dripless, and smokeless candles is well-known. Made locally in Melbourne by Australians.

Their History

A response to prayer…Rolet and Ann de Castella were recruited from a “Team’s of our Lady” prayer group in 1988 to take over Otto Nechwetal’s closing Melbourne Central, Little Elizabeth Street store. They later moved the company to Hawthorn and changed the name to Southern Cross Church Supplies Pty Ltd.

Since then, Southern Cross Church Supplies has provided goods and services to the clergy and general public of Melbourne and beyond. The company has a large number of long-tenured employees and enduring connections with its clients, suppliers, and the numerous charitable organizations it supports.

Always welcoming, the staff exemplifies Christian compassion and love by going above and beyond to help customers with goods and services in order to advance the practice of their faith.

Supporting Australian Made

They allow the sale of products made in Australia. They occasionally also source distinctive goods from the Holy Land, Italy, Ireland, and America.

Giving Back to the Community

According to their ethical convictions, their business has the potential to support the community by creating jobs, giving their work a greater sense of meaning.

Products like altar wine, charcoal, and the Monastique skincare line are obtained from monastic businesses run by Carmelite monks in Kew and Benedictine monks in Adelaide. Small local artisans, indigenous peoples, and international fairtrade markets produce a large number of goods.

The proceeds from the sale of their hosts are donated to local organizations that support drug and alcohol treatment centers for addicts and youth employment programs. Through the promotion of enterprise and faith both within and through Church groups that give back to the community, their business hopes to have a positive impact on the neighborhood.

They can ship both domestically and abroad and offer their clients well-informed advice.

They employ people of all backgrounds equally.

Their Customers

All denominations across the entire religious spectrum, as well as institutions of higher learning and the general public, are served by Southern Cross Church Supplies. Pastoral caregivers, diocesan and parish administrators, and professionals in the fields of education, health, and welfare.

Additionally, the company offers candles and other supplies at trade prices for commercial businesses like restaurants, wedding venues, piety stands, and funeral homes.
